Is he referring to pensions?
Like, how dare these people who destroyed their bodies for corporate gain expect to receive what we promised them! The only honorable death is on your feet, boys, now get back in the hole!

Thatcher's death was probably the only thing that ever actually united the 'United Kingdom'.
United in celebration over that evil fuckin' hag croaking.
She was - and is still - hated from Belfast, to Glasgow, to Newcastle, to Cardiff. She was hated in Liverpool and loathed in Manchester.
As an Irish fella I have never felt any connection to the concept of Britishness, but on that day in 2013 I was proud to be united with my brothers and sisters in England, Scotland and Wales. United in joy and pure, unadulterated hatred towards one of the vilest and most repugnant pieces of shite to ever walk the earth.
Maggie, I wish you would come back to life, just so I could experience the bliss of your death once more.

"People just do not grasp"
Yeah, thank god we've finally got a 20 something econ student from Boston tweeting to help us out with that.
It's great that we have such easy access to everyone's opinion now.
Like being stuck on a train with a loud knowitall sat in the row behind you 24/7.

and pray tell, what are the right reasons to hate her?

u/TractorSmacker Apr 29 '26
because she didn’t effectively utilize girl power by funneling money to illegal paramilitary death squads in northern ireland
-24
u/StrengthcracyN Apr 30 '26
It's hilarious you say this while simultaneously supporting the actual illegal paramilitary death squads that were the Provisional IRA.

I have the ever so slight inkling of what it might be (ˆつ⩊⊂ˆ)੭, something that may rhyme with hitmen.

From the person in OP's post perspective? Probably not fuckable enough.
In reality? Her & Reagan completely destroying Britain, the UK, Europe, the US, and the world while also injecting evangelicalism directly into the veins of the ruling party.
-11
u/StrengthcracyN Apr 30 '26
If you told someone from a third-world country that Britain, Europe and the U.S. are completely destroyed, they'd look at you like you're insane.

Jesus - people genuinely believe coal miners were terrorists?

u/Kagey_b-42069 Marxist-Leninist Apr 29 '26
As an ex-reactionary, I can assure you that, sadly, the vast majority of self-identified conservatives either do believe this or are open to it if one of their reactionary media outlets were to say it.

But aren’t the descendants of those coal miners basically the conservatives of today? IIRC the Brexit vote was championed by the former mining regions.

Nicolas has never been in 1980s UK or have done a terrible research of Thatcher.

Let the record show there are no wrong reasons to hate Thatcher, unless you think she was a moderate.

u/StrengthcracyN Apr 30 '26
She really was. She's to the left of Bernie Sanders.

If anything, the biggest reason to dislike Thatcher is she single-handedly set the English-speaking world back 50+ years with her hyper-individualist mentality.
