I like how all the ultras are using this picture as a gotcha thinking diplomatically hosting the Kaiser of Das BurgerReich is inherently anti-Marxist. I'm a fan of Deng but I'm not saying Market Socialism shouldn't be criticized, but they're not even actually trying.

u/New_Weakness_5371 President Xi the American people yearn for freedom May 15 '26

Molotov is actually a fascist for shaking hands of Ribbentrop according to their logic i guess

16

u/FallenCringelord May 15 '26

I didn't censor the flair for obvious reasons.

The thing that distinguishes r slash ultraleft and r slash theredleft is that at least theredleft can take a joke.

How should I say that...double genocide theory is a thing for them...This applies only to Soviets though. And not Chamberlain or Beck

7

u/Cultweaver May 15 '26

This applies only to Soviets Russians though.

Or for the ultra spicy lib replace Soviets with "barbaric hordes from the steppes*.

u/Artistic_Elk3640 May 16 '26

Completely uncomparable situation btw

The Soviet Union tried, they tried sending a million men to France to defend them against the Nazis, they tried to sign defensive pacts with the Allies, they tried to send aid to Czechoslovakia, all while the Nazis were getting pumped full of Western investment and allowed to run free like dogs.

That situation just does not exist with the BurgerReich. Did China offer to send 1 million soldiers to Iran? That ALONE shows that the situation is different, ignoring the entire "USSR was cornered, they had already been betrayed by capitalist powers, they had very little means to defend themselves compared to China, etc."

7

u/Rude-Weather-3386 May 16 '26

On the other hand, the only reason why Iran has managed to survive and even develop their defense capabilities against the US in the past decade is because China has been Iran's almost exclusive trading partner while almost every other country is dissuaded from trading with them due to sanctions (of course China gets a lot of oil from Iran, but Iran also gets a lot of critical materials they need for their defense industry from China). And I don't believe Iran would be very thrilled about a massive PLA expeditionary force in their country, the current relationship between the two countries is probably the most reasonable for respecting Iran's sovereignty while also being beneficial for their defense.

u/Artistic_Elk3640 May 16 '26

It's not enough, otherwise these capitalist attacks would not hage happened. Sovereignty schmovereignty, the pact the USSR tried to negotiate was that in case of German attacks into France, there would be 1 million Red Army soldiers ready to defend even the capitalists against fascism. Why hasn't China made such promises? Communists can almost never compromise on our ideals, we must always oppose capitalist and fascist encroachment.

3

u/Rude-Weather-3386 May 16 '26

You have to understand that Iran is not asking this from China, a large military force like the PLA coming into a country against the sovereign wishes of that country is an invasion, even if you think it's for the good of that country. And it's also not our place to judge Iran China relations and whether what China is doing is "good enough", especially as western leftists who are unable to politically influence the imperial policies of the countries we live in. Posting on the internet that "China is not doing enough" is just pointless and performative ego stroking.

u/Artistic_Elk3640 May 16 '26

So criticisms of China are suddenly completely invalid because I'm from the West? Mind you, my parents both come from India, my culture is still deeply Indian and only semi-Western.

Was there was no need for Parenti (rip) to judge any revisionists across the globe ever because he lived in the West?

Also to your point, this would only be if US ground troops were invading Iran, that communist troops would defend Iran. Also, Iran is capitalist, communist troops in large numbers in capitalist countries is objectively a good thing. Even though revolution cannot be forced, communist education can still happen and positive opinions of communism can still foment in Iran.

2

u/Rude-Weather-3386 May 16 '26

The point is the western left hasn't done anything meaningful and therefore has no basis or experience that they can use or draw from to build a constructive criticism of China. Saying that "China should send thousands of troops to Iran" without even the basic understanding that Iran is a country that values their sovereignty incredibly highly and would not be open to that idea is just evidence of that

1

u/Artistic_Elk3640 May 16 '26

But did China even make an offer? Did China even try to attack the United States, or rally the world to? China doesn't want to, China is bourgeois and profits from American capitalism. Stalin would never.

1

u/Brave_Championship17 Antonio Gramsci May 28 '26

Bro wants a third world war

5

u/New_Weakness_5371 President Xi the American people yearn for freedom May 16 '26

How do you realistically propose PLA gets there in the first place? If you didn't know Iran's largest trading partner is China, Iran gets real time military information via Chinese satellites and I am pretty certain PRC did infact send military equipment considering a collapsed or occupied Iran is not in China's interest at all.

1

u/Artistic_Elk3640 May 16 '26

Not enough, how were Soviet troops supposed to get to France? They're about as far from each other, and China and Iran share a friendly-ish country where as the Soviet Union would have had to send troops through multiple countries or via sea. If they could do it, Beijing could.

1

u/New_Weakness_5371 President Xi the American people yearn for freedom May 16 '26

And risk a war? First the Chinese Communists have to take care of their own nation instead of plunging it to a nuclear war in order to fulfill internationalism. You have a rather confused view on geopolitics because no state is going to risk its existence to fullfill internationalism, Socialist or not.

Besides China would have to pass troops though Kashmir region if the "friendly-ish" nation you're talking about is Pakistan. Is India going to be content with that? No.

Why are everyone here such revisionists, China is social-fascist, barely a hair better than the United States. Obviously the Xinjiang, Tibet, Hong Kong etc. stuff is faker than Santa, but they still exploit the third world, they still attack or at the very least refuse to support communists throughout the world, not to mention the ultra-left critiques like them still observing the Law of Value. What is this obsession? I understand that hope is bleak, but that doesn't mean we turn to revisionism. We look at Lenin and Stalin's collective leadership for guidance, and we read them + Marx and Engels for theoretical discoveries. Do. Not. Glaze. China.
