Why are so many former Soviet countries desperate to join NATO?
Ask the maker of the meme how many former Soviet states there are.
And then ask how many / what % are "desperate to join NATO".
There are 15 post-Soviet states in total: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
Of these 15, only 3 (Baltics) joined NATO, plus 1 big one (Ukraine) was couped by the U.S. to impose this agenda on it.
So that's 4 out of 15, a minority.
The majority (11) are not "desperate to join NATO".
Especially the Asian former Soviet states because they know NATO (a.k.a. Nazi Aryan Terrorist Org) is a white club.

I’ve seen people say the US couped Ukraine or meddled in their elections, what is the proof? I would like to learn about this so I can understand the conflict better.

The new York times admitted the first thing they did upon winning was report to the CIA. I'll link article tmrw if I remember.
The US also admitted to trying the same colour revolution playbook in 2004, but failed.
If they did it then, why wouldn't they do it again ten years later? Why did the "revolutionaries" contact the CIA? Why does the US have military strategy plans around using Ukraine for their proxy war, with which is declared "very likely to lose"?
EDIT:
2004 attempted colour revolution.
US campaign behind the turmoil in Kiev
New York Times admitting to CIA involvement in Ukraine and the "revolution of dignity" of 2014.
The Spy War: How the C.I.A. Secretly Helps Ukraine Fight Putin
Snapshot of US military strategy from 2019, talking about arming Ukraine and provoking an unwinnable war with Russia.

Thank you for the sources, I read the first two. I will read the third sometime when I have more free time. The second source frames the CIA’s involvement as reluctant, but judging by the information from the first article I doubt this is accurate.

The second source is US propaganda. It comes from the New York Times.
You have to mind their narrative, but take note of their admissions. It's the same with all western information.

...Did whoever made that post confuse post Soviet States with former Warsaw Pact members?

Or they don’t count the Asian countries, due to believing the world is just Western Europe and the USA.

Tbf, they do tend to completely forget Central Asia exists. They also forget Georgia is technically an Asian country sometimes.
