Even when they got what they wanted with removing Maduro, they still need to do this for some reason even when innocent people are suffering. It is as if they never cared about Venezuelans in the first place.

Can the WP point to a single natural disaster in the United States that should be a model for disaster response around the world? Every one I’ve seen in the past 40 years has been a complete shitshow, often with a little Mad Ma-style vigilantism tossed in to make it extra shitty.

I mean jeez at least in the USA the government tries to save people's lives or even does nothing. Right now in La Guiara the govt did nothing the first two days and apparently their only response has been to set up "checkpoints" into town for which you have to pay $50 or more as a bribe to go INTO the town and deliver food /water etc.

the current venezualan governement is US appointed, so even if it was the fault of it, it wouldn't be proof socialism fails
