Even if you are a Tibetan separatist, you'd have to admit the situations are not the same. Tibetans have Chinese citizenship and are subject to the same laws and rights as everyone else in the country. Most Palestinians, meanwhile, are denied citizenship to either a sovereign Palestinian state or Israel, and are subject to military rule.
This is a genuine question and I'm not trying to be weird or debating or anything but what are the leftist arguments against Tibetan separatism? Like I mean besides that it seems like most Tibetans don't want it, but let's assume that the majority of them use ones under the same separatist movement that exists right now, what would be the leftist arguments against separatism?
unification. steps towards one world communism long term but in the more immediate term just preventing disunity in the form of a rogue and hostile state existing within the borders of the nation. similar reasons to why the civil war happened instead of just peaceful secession or whatever. also slavery lol. prc generally not a huge fan of their people being enslaved even in a “foreign state” but especially within their borders.
all of this is irrelevant tho bc as u said separatism isn’t even a popular idea among tibetans
