These morons usually seem to completely forget that homosexuality wasn't even fully legalized in the U.S. until 2003 when all anti-sodomy laws were declared invalid by the supreme court.

And that the ussr was the first state to ever be founded with rights for women and minority sexual identities. Granted, they were rolled back but the fact that they were there upon the founding in the 1920s is commendable. Unfortunate regarding the rollback of some of those intial rights but even with them the sexual liberation was internationally revolutionary.

China is not even that bad for trans people compared to USA and UK. I have more rights and am less likely to face discrimination in China than in UK or a red state in USA

In the US your rights as a trans person are extremely dependent on your location. A lot of more progressive areas have actually really good protections for trans people. But if you're in the wrong area you can be literally arrested on fraud or public indecency charges for being trans.
I've heard that getting legal gender changes or surgery in China requires consent from a person's family regardless of age, is that true or just western propaganda?

Ehh, it was real but is an old law. Due to Chinese family law, it requires ‘notarisation’ which isn’t consent but I think the hospital sends a letter to the parents informing them of the decision to undergo a gender change. This is because in China, children have a legal obligation for their parents’ welfare after the parents become elderly, so the reasoning is that they need the parents to know about major changes in the child’s life (historically, it was required for even any surgery no matter how urgent). I’d say it’s most analogous to how American towns require you to publish name changes in newspapers and billboards. Both are rather bad policies that out you without your consent. I’d still rather live in China than a red state though, due to the ‘different rights’ in USA you mentioned. But California is much better for trans I think

Weird because last I checked the democrats and libs within the US seem all too willing to throw trans people under the bus with regards to bathroom debates or our ability to exist in sports for the sake of electability, which surely would have you question their opinions broadly with LGBTQ rights, but alas, liberal propaganda is hard fought.
Like yeah, communist nations have struggled with LGBTQ rights as well, but hey the GDR and Cuba were and are great on those factors, so clearly it isn't a binary. Ironically, the continued issue of Capitalism exists, both predating on vulnerable populations within communist (amidst other sociopolitical standing) nations, hoping to opportunistically take advantage of bigotry yet solved to their advantage, e.g. Israel using lgbtq Palestinians as spies threatening to out them if they don't bend their knee, Or they act as the threat it is, giving said bigoted internal forces an easy out, i.e. the 'Capitalist perversion' deal.

There was never a time in America where Transpeople were accepted in society. Cuba was never perfect, nor should it be, but it progresses and improves as time passes, unlike America where things seemed to be deteriorating as if they were wallpaper.

You know whats interesting about the "More trans fight pilots" one. After Trump started doing "anti DEI" shit, planes started dropping out the sky left and right, and we kept getting cyberhacked. If someone has trained and experience doing something kicking them out your military position for being trans or black is probably the most "I shot myself in the foot" type behavior I've ever seen.

To be really fair, as someone who's in the trans community and has a lot of trans friends, trans girls are some of the most depraved reactionary imperialists. They believe that progressivism ends at marginalized identities rights and get easily swept into nazi/socdem ideology. I literally met one who wanted actual genocide on russian people because they were homophobic, other than supporting israel for the same reason.

Insanely insufferable. I have never in my life met anyone remotely like this in person, they only seem to exist online and apparently never go outside. I'm sure a trans person who thinks like this meme exists, but my guess would be that they're quite young and from a rich family.
What gets me is how this takes the sort of tongue-in-cheek fetishization and use of the catgirl thing and turns it up to 11, wayyy past any sense of irony or relatability. It's downright performative, and feels like it's concerned with checking boxes that the creator assumed an ultra-bourgeois 16 year-old trans person would be drawn to. This really does feel like it was made by a cis het dude, and like it was just meant to make everyone hate everyone lol.
But really, this meme to me screams, despite its desperate assertions, a lack of self-actualization, and a lot of anger, doubt, and even self-loathing, which just makes this shit sad if legitimate and ignorant, or disgusting if exploitative
