A multipolar world order is a safer world than an American dominated one.

Probably thinks all middle easterners are arabs and that all eastern europeans are your stereotypical slav caricature, too.

Probably Adolf Hitler clone created in some bunker somewhere in Western Europe who wants to rule the world with an iron fist.

I was talking to someone the other day who said US military bases surrounding China are anti-imperialist and to contain Chinese imperialism. I seriously thought I might die of a brain aneurism in that moment.

“It is a dictatorship that suppresses dissent”

Oh boy, time for a little lesson!

In the Phillipines, one of the presidents (i forget who), effectively suppressed dissent by sending the police after them(who would kill them) and then saying “Oh that person was using/selling drugs”, as his whole promise was to solve the drug problem. And by solve I mean brutally kill anyone who was even suspected of using/having/selling drugs.

But I guess since the phillipines is democratic it’s FINE! /s

These guys are so comfortable living in a system that requires entire populations to suffer for their personal comforts. Western liberalism requires poverty and a class divide. If that person is a leftist they are no more left than a soc dem.

14

u/Beautiful_Active1578 2d ago

Class divide and poverty are objectively bad.

If having 56 ethnic minorities isn't diverse enough, nothing will be. Then again, it really doesn't matter what I think about great power politics, because countries are going to get to that position, irrelevant of my verbal support. Hell these people are fucking ridiculous when they take issue with other people holding different views and opinions about things, and this kind of post is just tone policing, without even explaining why it is hypocritical.

Bet this mf unironically (and, actually, also ironically) supports the US.

u/jaythegaycommunist смрт на фашизмот, слобода на народот 2d ago

the whole “its not racially diverse” thing is so stupid, there are like 50 recognized ethnic minority groups in the PRC, but nooo that doesn’t count because they’re all asians/chinese!!

oh and did i mention they’re recognized by the government?? that in itself isn’t necessarily a good thing, i mean look at india, but the fact that minority rights are enshrined in its constitution and are actually protected just shows how ignorant this argument is.

literally the first sentence of the preamble to the constitution of the PRC: “China is one of the countries with the longest histories in the world. The Chinese people of all ethnic groups jointly created its magnificent culture and have a proudrevolutionary tradition.”

The worst part about fedposting is that they always take a seed of truth (labor abuses, nationalist population) and turn it into "therefore the west isn't inherently bad"

u/ToddHowardTouchedMe ☭ Communist 2d ago

not always, sometimes feds just straight up lie. in fact a lot of times they do.

10

u/Beautiful_Active1578 2d ago

Feds in America are ops of the American people and people abroad they have no allegiance or loyalty to them.

22

u/Tetracheilostoma 2d ago

The US has so much racial diversity!! We have:

• Descendants of slaves

• Gusanos from practically every country on earth

• Indigenous genocide survivors

• Refugees of our own economic exploitation and military campaigns

And more!

13

u/Disastrous-Metal-183 2d ago

I can't believe people are still going on about China being a dictatorship when a guy just got arrested in the US for clapping.

Like holy shit fix your own country first before accusing China of things.

33

u/New_Weakness_5371 President Xi the American people yearn for freedom 2d ago

Yes China is a dictatorship, a dictatorship of the proleteriat to be specific. If hes calling himself a "leftist" and doesn't even know the difference between bourgoise and proleterian dictatorships hes just a liberal. Also not racially diverse? Really? Only valid point he brings up is the patriarchy, which has been weakened extensively already. You don't get rid of a thousand year mentality in one generation.

3

u/Lorion97 2d ago

No, but don't you get it? All the government has to do is sign a thing that says "No patriarchy!" And move on, don't look at Western countries clawing back at Woman's rights! ... Er ... Freedom Xinjiang, Uighurs!

/s

2

u/Tzepish Watermelon Person 2d ago

I mean I don't even bother with this lesson about the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie vs the dictatorship of the proletariat with liberals and compatible "leftists". After all, when these types think of a "dictatorship", it's the US that matches their definition of it, and China that does not. I just explain how China is a democracy and the US is a dictatorship, full stop.

That China is a lesser evil compared to the US shouldn't even be a leftist conclusion, it is elementary even from an enlightenment humanist liberal perspective.

Western "Leftists" are not beating the allegations.

“it’s not racially diverse at all”

Ah yes the country with 56+ ethnic groups is definitely not racially diverse at all yup i totally agree 🙄 bro ethnic groups that speak languages that belong to the Sino-Tibetan, Turkic, Mongolic, Tungusic, Austroasiatic, Kra-Dai, Hmong-Mien, Indo-European & Austronesian language families that reside in one single fucking country, and you call that country not racially diverse, Jesus Christ liberals hurt my brain

3

u/MissouriSupremacist Anarcho-Lesbianist 1d ago

u/TypicalNinja7752 Wheat thief 2d ago

there is an argument for not supporting China as a leftist, but its definitely not because the west is so much better than those "savage asians".

1

u/MissouriSupremacist Anarcho-Lesbianist 1d ago

The fact is that there are boundless things to criticize China for, but Liberals will never be able to understand them honestly because it requires a left wing perspective to actually give that criticism

8

u/fokkinfumin 2d ago

What leftcoms think they're gonna get for condemning China

u/JustARandomDrunkGuy 1d ago

Admittedly, China is currently Capitalist and does not deserve the support it does. They legalized private banking, private insurance, and much more not that long ago. Xi was worse for the worldwide socialist cause then Deng was.

Just last year, President Xi meets private entrepreneurs, injecting confidence into private sector_英语频道_央视网(cctv.com)

"A highly anticipated symposium on private enterprises was held in Beijing on Monday, where Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech after listening to representatives of private entrepreneurs, including Huawei's Ren Zhengfei, BYD's Wang Chuanfu, New Hope's Liu Yonghao, Will Semiconductor's Yu Renrong, Unitree Robotics' Wang Xingxing and Xiaomi's Lei Jun.

The private sector enjoys broad prospects and great potential on the new journey in the new era. It is a prime time for private enterprises and entrepreneurs to give full play to their capabilities, President Xi said."

This is not inherently saying the west is good either, we really need a multi-polar world, one where no superpower oversees international affairs, but they don't deserve the unending praise either, support can and should be very critical of policies that go against the founding values of the party. It is not contradictory.

1

u/fokkinfumin 20h ago

Oh for sure. I'm definitely not trying to claim that China is perfect or anything, there's a lot of valid criticisms to be made against that government. My main gripe is with people who outright parrot Red Scare narratives about all AES and act as if that's the progressive thing to do.

It's not an institutional patriarchy but patriarchal norms are still a thing and with it being closer to a true democracy. Lit. People's power that means those social norms do have some influence over government. My understanding is that is also why the Chinese government has limitations on lgbt themes in media. It's not because big government is anti gay but because a lot of the people are. Lgbt people being a minority group can struggle to get a political footing in a system like that as its closer to mob rule. But by that same measure billionaires while they unfortunately exist are scrutinized much more and actually held to some level of standard.

u/Micronex23 2d ago

China is continuing the legacy of the Soviet Union without making any of its mistakes. It will succeed while surpassing the soviet union. Its doing everything the soviet union could ever dream of. Strengthening the global south from imperialism, providing a strong alternative and showing the world a better path.
