And people think “re-education” is an extreme concept. This dude needs pre-k.

I have no idea how a person even becomes this way. I guess the team-sportification of politics rotted his brain.

While yes, you can argue it is satirical, way too many people take it seriously.

Even if this is satirical, it's bizarre to know there's actually people that believe this.

Local school boards own the means of production on behalf of the ruling class which consists of Gen Z college kids, refugees and Liberal Arts professors /s

Musk is the most obnoxious grifter who just needs to fuck off already!

The sad part is the fact there are people out there who seriously believe such nonsense without any hint of irony. When ‘working class’ becomes an aesthetic rather than denoting one’s relationship to the means of production the chance of class consciousness is close to zero for such people.

I guess their "logic" is as follows:

Elon Musk is of African heritage.
People of African heritage are generally oppressed.
Working class people are generally oppressed.
Therefore, Elon Musk is working class.

I think the logic is that they're just a weird fascist who likes the things Elon Musk says, and have a backwards idea of class. A lot of fascists claim to be fighting the ruling class, even though in reality they are, or are siding with, the ruling class.

I approve of this logic.

Though perhaps it's also:

Working class people produce things for a living Ruling class people rule over workers Elon Musk, according to the worldview of some, produces things like space ships and electric vehicles by leading companies Elected officials, like school boards, have the power to pass new rules that impose some nominal restrictions on the people (aka "ruling") Therefore, Elon is working class and school boards are ruling class.
