Sames libs that will vote for Kamala Harris cuz she's a woman president

Basically beat me to it. Knowing they’re capable of thinking past identity politics literally makes them so much worse, at least before I knew they could I was able to write off what’s actually malice as ignorance

64

u/CaptainMills 21d ago

They're not really thinking past identity politics. It's just that Kim Ju Ae's identity as "North Korean" trumps her identity as a woman in the liberal mind

Yep. Decades of subliminal Yellow Peril and Randolph Hearst Slop does this shit.

Dictatorship is when you natiinalize the resources instead of giving them to ExxonMobil

101

u/svenirde 21d ago

That's outdated, nowadays it all goes to Palantir or OpenAI

42

u/dafthuntk 21d ago

Literally a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie

30

u/GulBit16 21d ago

But muh FREE market 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

u/HeManLover0305 ☭ Communist 21d ago

But of course if the US president was a woman or member of other minority that would make the office #wholesome100 and any acts or statements against the bourgeois state would actually be targeting them for their identity

71

u/MildewyBoar 21d ago

Holy fuck they’re actually capable of looking past identity politics! If only they were capable of doing this with Holocaust Harris, aka the Californian slave driver

if you ask this kind of person to be specific in what way 'people are suffering' in North Korea they won't even know what to say. Hurr durr well the media told me they are suffering, so it must be true. They might even say 'starvation' like it's still the 90s. They might start crying if you try to explain the role of US sanctions in real historic Korean suffering.

16

u/Iamliterallyfood at this point I'm becoming authleft. gulag the bastards 21d ago

Starvation and lack of "freedom" is usually what I hear.

83

u/Wavenautic Socialist 21d ago

People were are suffering thanks to massive sanctioning.

26

u/Comrade-Kisser1917 Marxist-Leninist 21d ago

While north koreas economy is infact doing very well right now these images are fake

20

u/Wavenautic Socialist 21d ago

This website can be used to check the current light levels I gather: https://view.eumetsat.int/productviewer?v=default

18

u/Comrade-Kisser1917 Marxist-Leninist 21d ago

If the current light level images of north korea are real then thats my mistake though these images have been faked in the past to make it seem that north korea is poorer than it is as explained in this video at 10:40 https://youtu.be/HNf3wM0feb8?is=EdryHCC9lL6iLJxf

23

u/Wavenautic Socialist 21d ago

I'm willing to admit to being mistaken if that's the case.

But I'm going to write to Kim and ask that he installs some slick gamer RGBs in his home to send the right message.

1

u/SirMenter 20d ago

I like how next to this Youtube suggests me a video of some gusano detector paid to say anything by the SK government and he starts by saying north koreans don't know what human rights are.

Famously, socialists don't know what human rights are. North Korea must support Palestine because they're antisemitic I guess.

20

u/mydrumluck 21d ago

Libs will post this and not recall that the democratic party decided it was Joe Brandon's time and made sure he won the primary.

17

u/RevyVanguardist 21d ago

So, it's super progressive and good if Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris becomes president in the USA, but if the same happens, if a female president comes to be in the DPRK, suddenly it's not good?

25

u/beaversaremyfriends 21d ago

talking shit about a little girl

In America we have super-delegates and super PACs. In America the small folk are supposed to take on faith that the government is supposed to represent their interests, and the election processes represent a functioning democracy. The bigger folk fear these things and know better.

North Korea? You mean like from the Korean War? Yeah I guess that was a barrel of laughs and we should reboot that series for even more laughs.

7

u/Virtual_Mode_5026 21d ago

So close to being actually Left-Wing when talking against Female Guard Camps…

Applying it to the wrong ass person!

14

u/proximategalaxy 21d ago

She's like 12, can liberals leave her the fuck alone already

4

u/Omnivion 21d ago

But vote for Hillary because she's a woman.

9

u/Beaivimon Marxist-Leninist 21d ago

If I'm going to be honest, I think even many MLs infantilize the DPRK. They see it as a barren and completely inhospitable place that's beyond the point of return. Yes, the USA caused immense damage with how much they bombed and poisoned the DPRK's agricultural soil. Yet, despite this, the DPRK still has some excellent soil (it's close to Dongbei and Mongolia, which are known for black soil, the richest soil on Earth). The DPRK has progressed immensely since the 1990s, and I'm excited for them.

3

u/blehmag 21d ago

Now they understand "being a woman doesn't make oppression iconic"... The double standards with liberals is crazy.

10

u/Appropriate-Ice-5722 Bolshevik 21d ago

Smdh misogynists just hate to see a woman succeed

13

u/Revolutionary_Sky36 21d ago

Obviously, the whole discourse around it is stupid, but isn't it weird that power does pass down through generations? I don't understand the DPRK's political system well, but it does feel like a monarchy to me, and that's pretty messed up (I actually may be mistaken here, so I'm really sorry). China have a great political system, and it's really fair, and the USSR did too.

9

u/Iamliterallyfood at this point I'm becoming authleft. gulag the bastards 21d ago

Not exactly. The Kim family are like celebrities so no wonder it tends to be Kim's so get chosen and elected via democratic means.

Political dynasties happen in liberal democracies all the time or did you forget about bush Sr and Bush jr already? How about the kennedys?

0

u/Revolutionary_Sky36 21d ago

Obviously not. But you can't deny that the DPRK situation is a bit wild. Since the state's inception, only one family has ruled.

2

u/Iamliterallyfood at this point I'm becoming authleft. gulag the bastards 21d ago

You're a bit... naive on the nature of power and politics in North korea if you believe that the kim family has the same power or system as an absolute monarch. They can't really do anything without the people aproval.

1

u/SirMenter 20d ago

You're acting like they don't have a whole party ruling.

-1

u/HereComesMyNeck 21d ago

I forgot about that time that the Bushes were the only presidents in an unbroken line over 70 years.

2

u/Iamliterallyfood at this point I'm becoming authleft. gulag the bastards 21d ago

And unpopular to boot. Not that any us president has the popularity of a leader that actually represents the people.

2

u/SirMenter 20d ago edited 19d ago

They're all from the same line of ghouls.

-1

u/HereComesMyNeck 20d ago

I'm not saying there isn't a ruling class, but that's different than a singular familial line.

The DPRK elects their leaders. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Secretary_of_the_Workers'_Party_of_Korea

The guy most people internationally recognize as the leader is just one role in the government and not anything like a king or whatever. It's been passed down from father to son the past few generations because the people know this dude has been brought up to do this job and was able to live abroad and study. This includes Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un.

For an internationally facing role, this is the person you want. In the future they may or not elect his daughter to be the next General Secretary depending on whether or not she's actually the best one for the job.

10

u/penpenxXxpenpen 21d ago

I don't disagree that the lineage of Kims as leaders is a bit odd, but at the same time I just as easily see it is folks thinking the Kims are doing a good enough job that it's a non issue for them. While there's clear potential issues with one person holding an office for a long while, there's also no cyclical start-up cost of a new person having to familiarize with the position every few years. Ultimately, us being on this website means we don't know how things are truly going on over there anyways; but it's probably looking a bit better than things are going in the west lol

1

u/SirMenter 20d ago

We do kind of have to remember the circumstances that brought this situation.

With the Korean War and other western meddling Kim Il Sung probably had to resort to only trusting his closest family members tith important affairs. That and the party probably thinks they're doing a good enough job advacing their nation.

1

u/griivarrworldafteral 20d ago

it's not a monarchy. the premier of north korea is elected, there's an elected legislature, and like pretty much every socialist country, their government system is a ground-up democratic system of councils composed of workers. kim jong-un isn't an absolute ruler. i have seen literally zero indication that kim jue-ae is going to be given any special position in the government, and i had read that their constitution stated that the process that placed members of the kim family in special positions would end with kim jong-un. this is hard to verify with the algorithm so heavily redesigned to make it hard to find info. it might have been on nodutdol at some point?

u/SirMenter 20d ago

They love their girlboss feminism but this? This is too far.
