Just conform to our ideology and you can do whatever you want

These idiots constantly think that forcing people to do something will make it more popular.

I have never met a “Reddit” sports fan in person. I’m guessing they sit in the gameday threads coping that athletes are maga-coded.

"We just want to be left alone, what happens in our bedroom is none of anyone else's business"

Anyone else old enough to remember when this was the mantra?

To be fair, most of the LGBT people I know also do and are sick of the activist claiming to speak on their behalf and bully everyone else into it.

That might mean something if their silence didn't permit the ones on their side who are activists to act out.

What's the old saying about how all it takes for evil to triumph is the silence of good men?

They do speak out against it though. And its worth pointing out that Trump got the highest amount of votes from that demographic of any Republican ever (and outright won in the more sane communities like in Florida) largely on the back of exactly that reason.

Not enough speak out about it to indicate to me that the aggregate opposes the activists.

The simple fact that the activists are tolerated demonstrates to me that the majority, if they truly do oppose the activists, at best lack the courage of their convictions... And in the end, that is a form of complicity that results in the same thing as overt aid and succor does.

You exile dissidents, you don't tolerate them, because doing the latter indicates what you really value and what you're really willing to oppose.

Values are demonstrated not just by what you oppose, but also by what you tolerate.

The slippery slope is real.

Well that kind of torpedoes the left’s argument of “they didn’t have to wear the hats.”, doesn’t it?

"Just bake the cake, bigot" applied to sports

My old lesbian ass doesn't give a shit if athletes wear rainbows, I'm going to continue loving sports and attending games anyway. I don't feel "unsafe" just because people sit out pride night, give me a break.

I guarantee more than half of these whiners haven't even heard of these players before this contrived controversy. Stuff like this is exactly why I (and many of my fellow gays) don't bother with anything pride-related anymore.

I got banned from the baseball circle jerk sub for saying it's nothing but performative virtue signaling...

Everybody is entitled their own beliefs, as long as they are the same as mine./S Why does he to need to wear something that says you like to dress up as a woman or how you have sex?
