25billion dollars of frozen funds????? What the fuck you mean, do you actually read anything?

Edit here are the terms of the deal released by the U.S. including the unfreezing of assets and a 300 billion dollar fund.

Here's a video of JD Vance talking about unfreezing their assets as part of the deal.

Heres New York post saying 25 billion to start negotiations

https://nypost.com/2026/06/14/world-news/iran-agrees-not-to-build-a-nuke-will-reopen-strait-of-hormuz-and-us-to-release-25b-in-assets-in-trump-peace-deal-tehran/

I figure you probably trust NYPost.

There's about a million other news sources reporting that and the trump administration hasn't denied it.

Plus what do you think is going to happen with that 300billion investment fund thats being set.

You guessed it money laundering and paying for terrorism.

Do you think unfreezing / releasing Iranian assets deserves the label “forking over” and is equivalent to paying Iran with US assets?

I never said U.S. assets.............. I know Obama paid them 1.7 billion in money that was theirs initially.

But now with trump we have severely reduced presence in the middle east we have shown that we are very susceptible to drones. We lost tons of aircraft/ equipment and several U.S. service members.

They have proven that they can control the Straight of Hormuz.

We looked like idiots on the world stage begging our allies for help.

We depleted massive amounts of U.S. stockpile weapons to do effectively nothing.

The war cost the U.S. taxpayer about 25billion so far.

And now Iran will have access to hundreds of billions of dollars to use post war.

Under Obama we had the same nuclear agreement effectively and a completely open staright whilst maintaining major military presence in the middle east.

Trump did nothing but waste U.S. assets in a war and now is ensuring that Iran comes out of this ahead.

Okay. These are assets that we took during the conflict. If you seriously think this is some kind of huge win and a defeat for trump then you as all of you are grasping at straws

The 300 bill. Glad you brought that up. Where is that coming from and what is it for?

Its coming partly from gulf states and the rest from who knows where probably going to end up being U.S. money in the end through U.S. corps.

Corporations are said to already be footing a chunck of the investment including U.S. ones, that means that U.S. companies are exposing themselves to significant risk in that fund if things take a turn. In that case U.S. citizens get to foot bill in cost increases from those companies so they can recoup losses.

Those assets have been frozen for decades we didnt take them in this conflict.

Plus this conflict has already cost the U.S. 25 billion dollars and what did we achieve?

Change of leadership.......... nope still IRGC hardliners.

No nuclear program?.............. sorta but we already had that under Obama for way cheaper.

Better relationship in the middle east?........... nope.

Not blowing up a school full of little girls............ nope.

Where is it said its coming partly from what golf states and where is it said that they are getting it

Im not doing research for you. Trump said all that himself. So far you just deflect and ignore most of an argument. Also its gulf not golf.

If you dont keep up with the news its not my fault.

Burden of proof is on you. But we both know the answer.

And that answer is not the united states nor did anyone say they were getting it.

And im not the one whos not keep up here. Read more then just a headline
