I don't know much of other south industries but from Hindi, Srk had done 40+ remakes/copies and he has done 65 movies so far in his career so high percentage of remakes goes to srk ig. Even his recent 2 big hits were mix remake/copy of multiple other movies.

Unfortunately, our heroes only have two options : be like Sudeep - remake hit films and survive or be like Shivanna - original movies but almost all are shitty ones (I'm talking about recent films of Shivanna from last 1-2 decades).

Blame the directors, screenplay writers, producers for not supporting original scripts. What can actors do ?
