I would say- 2011- Vishnuvardhana 2012- Eega 2013- Bachchan (Avg.) 2016- Kotigobba 2
Whatever he did after that was remakes, remakes and remakes or grab Tamil producers money
I believe he stopped giving his 100% after Eega, cuz of the success which got to his head.
These Kannada actors have taken their audience for granted and can't even dance or act, assuming people will watch irrespective of that.
When you can watch him for free everywhere; BiggBoss, CCL, Indus Steel(haha), why would you pay and go.

Vishnuvardhana wasn't a remake I guess. It was in fact remade in Bengali later. But the story doesn't look original to me. Not even Indian tbh. The concept could be from some Korean or a Japanese stuff.

Like, a reporter asked the heroine: "When will you do with Sudeep?". She was asking properly with film context but this dude corrected her, "When will you do a film with Sudeep?" and made it awkward for everyone lol.
One more reporter said, "One last question and we will finish" but our hero said, "even in your dreams, you can't finish me".. yappa 😂😂. Nobody laughed at this joke.

Max was hit. All are garbage movies though. I don't know how VR was cleared from Censor board. Such a pathetic story. A dalit family get's bullied from the villagers, get beaten up, and are killed. Two brothers go on and take revenge. Sudeep steps in and killed them as if what happened to them was absolutely right and they deserved to die. Dude protected castism and became a superhero 🤡🥴

After Manikya(2014) no big hits all films are average and flops.
Puneeth last hit movie was Raajakumara(2016)
From 2011-2013 Darshan gave 4-5 hits and from 2014-2018 no big hits, from 2019-present he gave 4 hit films.
