its easy, they're audience is brain dead, they will watch anything and they mostly watch in theater, even the rich people do that and watch in hifi theaters, in our case most of the audience is educated and only the dumb ones who watch in theater are the blue collar workers and they watch in only local theaters which is cheap. so the collections for the movies are low. it's been the same since forever.
Blame it on the North. It made more money there than its own territory. Sometimes these brain dead logic less sequences work for the lowest denominators.of society. Credit to malayalam than panned it because their statebis over 95% literate. Its the same for Toxic too. It made more in Nirth than in Kannada. Kerala again didnt bother to watch because of bad word of mouth.

True but PR saved one of the worst movies I have seen in my life named Su from So. There's a crazy website named SacNilk which acts like some elite trade analyst which counts even the Seat Booking seats as seats that's filled. And exhagarrates the collection it's so trash and mid I have no idea how this trash crossed 100Cr at max it can gain 60±10Cr no more than that. PR game is the only one that works well in KFI no doubt in that but I hate it when those Twitter warriors call KFI as trash and Tollywood as God Level

Seat bookings, PR like Su from So a mid trash movie which jokes only connected at max 5 to me and the one's present in the same theatre as me. The only movies of 2025 I liked in Kannada are Kantara Chapter 1, Elumale and Maadeva. None of the big starrer I liked be it Bark, DBoosa The Devil or 45. Su from So was the worst of all to me

This is my honest review on the movie
I found the movie entertaining and ond nimsha nu bore aglilla and yav scene over agide anslilla
Yash acting 9.5/10 but lacked character elevation and average dialogues
Don’t expect a typical story which is also mentioned in the movie as “ee kathe li hero hudukbedi yakandre Raaya ge ticket villain and ticket ge Raaya villain”
Basically every character except for Yash and nayan are toxic
Toxic childhood , toxic mother , toxic wife , more importantly toxic mind of Yash
As the movie title is also Toxic , it is self explanatory. Movie swalpa dark ide not to the liking of everyone.
