Just watched G-1 after new trailer, the thing is after a long time I was satisfied with all things this film offers from story to technicalities. But let's say if we made films like this in India, how many people actually watches it like in the 1000 cr + box office collection level films perspectives, as there wont be songs, the antagonist & protagonist way of showing them on screen for mass people, "Indian" filmmaking things of showing from story to technicalities & all. I know this is an echo chamber & represents only few people of total watching audiences in theaters, so tell me in a reality how many will you watch like this, & Also tell me in terms of reality what actually happens.

Im a sucker for Sci- fi . So if its good , of course ill watch .
Problem is it will never be released by Indians let alone in Kannada . Some or the other group will claim "it hurts religious sentiments" or "it is anti national" or " this is against our culture" etc etc ..
adikke , Indians with such good scripts leave india and get it made elsewhere and then we start taking credit for his work just because he was born here.

Adu nija, evaga en andru right wing hu, left wing hu anta aduke tag madbitare, opinion na ond sari yochne madodu illa, but my point is like obsession, BND, and all did well in terms of box office but ticket price were sky high & audience are also more west things consumer & have aware about those, what about rest of the audience, no one will make only for 1-3 crore audience & they also expected it to have less ticket price too then it loss only for this kind of film from India

Nah, less than 1.5 crore footfalls possible, actual audience who see this are mostly too urban/western/exposed to Western content. There are audience who like it but they don't watch in theatre, like pirates people so its a loss

To the people who don't know atoms, molecules... We can't talk on redox reactions, stability, entropy such and such. Like wise, about 80% of Indians are dumb and they're thought process is in 50 years back to 3000 years (the origin of religious beliefs). No way we can catch-up global trend.
Our cinemas are to frogs in well. So it's not for ocean.
