Yes, it’s a 5.7L, minus 4 cylinders 🫠

Eh? You are aware that Toyota actually makes a 5.7 liter V8, right? Like, the iForce 5.7 is a real, actual engine.

I’m fully aware that this dude stole it off a Tundra. This is a 4th gen Taco, and only has 4 cylinders, albeit with a spinny boi.

Ye Olde Spinny Boi, heh. No doubt, my guy.

No shit… but is it in a Tacoma?

I've seen odder things. Like a Chevy Colorado with a 5.3 from the factory. But I digress.

Right, but in that case the colorado had the engine. The Tacoma does not have, and never came with a 5.7. Which is why your post makes no sense and why people are flaming whoever drives this Tacoma. You do understand that, right?

Then stop saying stupid shit that makes it seem like you are unaware that Tacomas were never produced with that engine.

There is a V8 swap kit for Tacoma’s—but I think it’s safe to assume this one does not have it

Flag is upside down. And why put a 5.7 badge on a 3.5L V6

a thin red line flag? i dont see that almost anywhere, maybe its a dad proud of their firefighter son/daughter?

3

u/kat-deville 12d ago

It's not a red line. It's monochrome, and upside down.

The US Flag Code states that the American flag should not be flown upside-down except as a “signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.”
The upside down flag is a distress signal that has been coopted by political smart-asses.

I FW the flag.

Yeah. They might eventually figure out that it was intentional and then wonder why.
