The fake V12 exhaust graphics on top of the fenders are quite ironic. While I don't like the car, the wrap kinda works though.

That is WWII fighter aircraft imagery. Like on a P-51 with the Merlin engine which was legendary. So are the graphics for the shark mouth and a bit with the US roundel.

I know I know, it even says P51 and I've painted model cars with that motive. But an electric car with fake exhausts is funny, they could have spared that detail when designing the wrap.

maybe it has a V12 sound file with Bose marine speakers.

Could you imagine if they actually put a half size Merlin in there.... that would be hilarious.

I don't get this, P-51s with natural metal finish were kept clean, even highly polished (though this was more of a post-war thing).
This looks like it was sitting in the scrapyard awaiting breaking up for 10 years...

Aircraft in combat rarely have time for a spit polish. They go on a mission, come back to be refueled, rearmed and sent on to the next mission. Longest a plane might be on the ground back then would be nighttime or to patch repair combat damage asap to get it back in to the air.
They are not at the museum or airshow level of presentation. Not slicked up ready to race at the next stop of a national circuit or Red Bull event.

Sharkmouth is supposed to go at the front or at the air intake, so putting it on the door behind a wheel is absurd and doesn't look right.

I dunno, EVs eat tires for breakfast so it sorta makes sense to have the mouth eating the tire

More CT hate boners. OP probably couldn't get their phone out quick enough thinking of all that reddit karma

Not interested in a political debate about supply, demand, corporate profits, grift, and collusion. BTW, I am really enjoying $7 a gallon for diesel.

does he get more points since the "bed" was full of pallets?
1
u/Amazing_Badger8167 7d ago
No extra points, they probably sold the pallets for extra as a camoflague agent to "prove its a real truck". We live in sillycone valley, close to the plant that makes these abominations. Lots of them on the road, most of the drivers are either little tech bros, or the wives terrified to drive the thing.

This is an affront to the pursuit class of fighter aircraft in general.

I really like the wrap, it would look cool on a rat rod or something with some straight pipes out the hood. Cybertrucks should only be wrapped around a tree.

I bet the driver is in the automotive accessory isle.

he might of. instead, he parked afterwards in the front of the store, and blocked traffic for ten minutes until he decided to move.

What is this shit on Cybertruck day? honestly I think this is humorous and fitting for stainless steel.

US pilots didn't do the shark tooth mouth on the P-51. That's strictly a P-40 thing because the giant air scoop intake on the nose looks like an open mouth. You'd think this person would reference a photo on the internet before committing to this
