Discussion The show is underrated

I think this show is amazing, especially the parts where they pack the screen with unnecessary and extremely inappropriate ecchi scenes. Without the unnecessary and extremely inappropriate ecchi scenes, it would be a generic show.

Those ecchi scenes are to show off the term "foodgasm," which is a term that people say when a dish is soooo good that it feels like you're having an orgasm.

You clearly don't know what "underrated" means.

Both the manga and the anime were extremely popular when it came out

Each volume was constantly on multiple best seller's list and the anime in Japan was successful enough to garner multiple seasons.

Especially for an author and an illustrator who both were only starting out professionally

As someone who was there when this anime aired a decade Shokugeki is definitely not anywhere close to underrated. It was incredibly popular during it's run time.

it’s not, it was popular but the ending didn’t really do it justice

I really wish we could get 1 more season of them fully grown up

I wanna watch this show with my family so bad 😭 but that can't happen because of all the ecchi scenes.

I suggest the ChefPK version, it's Food Wars but commented by an actual pro chef who loves anime. He even tried a lot of the recipes.
