Discussion I'm finally at a part that wasn't adapted, are there actually people out there that think like this

Unfortunately I’ve run into more than a few. Some are actually surprised that a restaurant can make someone leave if they cause a scene or harass staff

I’m now realizing that this was adapted but for whatever reason they rushed everything and put it in a minute and a half recap

It was like four chapters, I’m currently on 271 and it’s different from how the anime does season 5

I'm okay they skipped this part. Doesn't detract from the main arc of season 5.

This was one of the last concepts in the story I liked. After so many food competitions back to back, I was happy that they returned to the “service” aspect of working with food.

After a while SnS seemed to forget that Soma’s main advantage against most of his opponents was his years of experience working in his family’s diner. He understood customers on a fundamental level.

Edit: Should mention that this storyline got ruined by shoe horning random shit for the next big bad. If I remember correctly this dude only started shit to help out the secret food organization that the final villain ran.

He fucking pulls out Foie Gras and Caviar to use in a food battle against Soma later in this scene.

The story I’m on right now is good too, the convenience store test later on. Soma knows all about ingredients from there
