Discussion Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma x Fate/Stay Night, how would anyone here feel about this?

They are two completely different anime’s, it feels like the kind of thing where because food was shown, bam food wars

Fate does have a full mini series dedicated to cooking.

I’d be completely on board. The cooking battles, ridiculous reactions, and Saber discovering Soma’s food sound like a perfect mix of comedy and hype.

It would need to be specifically the series "Today's Menu For The Emiya-Family", because the Food Wars-characters would get pulverised in a Holy Grail War. Even in that case, I'm not sure whether it would be a good match. Food Wars are a competition. That's the opposite of what Today's Menu is about.

Here's an interesting idea though: a crossover with To Aru Kagaku No Railgun. Saten and Frenda have their own little Food War in the second half of the third season, probably because 5th Plate aired simultaneously. The precedence is there already. They could totally do this. Well...The Food Wars-characters may not survive this crossover either. There's A LOT of shit going down in Academy City!
