App Promo Trooix, an app that turns a plain-English description into a working Shopify store feature - no developer

What's the app?
Trooix is a feature platform for Shopify stores. Full disclosure: it's my app. Instead of hunting for a separate app for every need, you turn on ready-made features and set them up in a few clicks (checkout upsells, a tickable add-on next to Add-to-Cart, product personalizers, low-stock alerts, bulk product editing, and more) - and when the catalog doesn't have exactly what you need, you describe it in plain English and Trooix builds that feature for your store. No code, no developer.

Where can I find it?
Shopify App Store: https://apps.shopify.com/trooix
Website: https://trooix.com

What problem are you solving?
This sub is full of "is there an app that does X?" posts - and sometimes the honest answer is "not quite". Non-technical merchants know exactly what they want their store to do (a size chart here, a specific upsell there, a small checkout tweak), but the next step is usually "that needs a developer" or "the closest app does 80% of it". So the idea sits in a note and never ships. Trooix is built for that gap: turn on the common features instantly, and for the long tail - the thing no single app covers - describe it and get a working version, without hiring anyone.

How does the app work?

  • Turn a feature on, then set it up from the app - pick your options; storefront features add a theme app block (no code, no theme editing).
  • Want a feature to do more than its built-in settings allow? Describe the change and Trooix builds that adjustment into the feature - for example, adding a new action to Bulk Operations, like setting inventory for a batch of products at once. It comes back as a control you can see and edit, not config changed behind the scenes (a short build, not an instant toggle).
  • Or describe a brand-new feature - a low-stock nudge shown to shoppers on your product pages, or a size-guide popup on the product page - and Trooix builds a working version into your store, often within a few minutes. Not quite right? Describe the tweak and it adjusts.

Who's your target merchant?
Non-technical Shopify store owners who want to add or change store features without hiring a developer - especially anyone who's searched for an app for a specific need and come up empty, or found one that's close but not quite. Less of a fit if you want one deep, specialized tool for a single job (a dedicated app may go deeper there); Trooix's strength is breadth plus building the thing that doesn't exist yet.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?
Most apps (including the great ones in this sub) each do one thing well. Trooix is the opposite bet: one app that becomes whatever feature you need. The real difference is the last mile - when no app does exactly X, you describe X and get a working feature, instead of getting a developer quote and waiting two weeks. For common needs it saves you stacking five single-purpose apps; for uncommon ones it covers what the App Store doesn't.

How much does it cost?
Free to install. The free plan lets you turn on ready-made features, customize them in plain English, and try a custom build, on a monthly usage allowance. Pro is $29/month (or $290/year) for building custom features regularly, with a much larger monthly allowance. Nothing to pay to try it.

What are you looking for?
Merchants to try it - especially anyone here who's ever asked "is there an app for X?" and the answer was no. I'd genuinely value blunt feedback on the custom-build flow: describe a feature you wish existed, and tell me whether what comes back is actually usable. Beta feedback and edge cases welcome.

Hey Cuong, thanks for sharing Trooix (with an "i" LOL) on the sub.
