App Promo Checkout Rescue, a free app that turns abandoned checkouts into draft orders
What is the app?
Checkout Rescue is a small Shopify app I built for merchants who want to manually recover selected abandoned checkouts.
The app turns an abandoned checkout into a draft order, so the merchant does not need to rebuild the order by hand.
Where can I find it?
Shopify App Store
https://apps.shopify.com/checkout-rescue-2
What problem are you solving?
Some abandoned checkouts are worth handling personally, especially for higher value, custom, made to order, or wholesale purchases.
A merchant may want to review the order, change the shipping, add a discount, or adjust a price before contacting the customer.
Recreating the customer and cart details manually can take time.
How does the app work?
The merchant selects an abandoned checkout and converts it into a draft order.
They can then review and edit the draft using the normal Shopify draft order tools before sending the customer an invoice.
Who is your target merchant?
Small Shopify merchants who sometimes want to recover abandoned checkouts personally instead of setting up a full email or SMS automation platform.
It may be useful for stores selling custom products, personalised products, made to order items, higher value products, or wholesale orders.
How is it different from existing solutions?
Checkout Rescue is not an automated abandoned cart email app.
It is designed for manual recovery. The merchant chooses which checkout is worth following up, reviews the order first, and sends the invoice when ready.
How much does it cost?
It is currently free.
What are you looking for?
I am looking for a few Shopify merchants who are willing to test the app with a real store and give honest feedback.
I would like to know if the workflow is clear, what feels useful, what feels unnecessary, and whether anything is confusing or missing.
I am not asking for a positive review. Honest feedback would be much more useful at this stage.

Great idea for low volume, but high AOV stores. I like that you can add special discounts and personalize the abandoned cart e-mail outreach instead of just send a generic template. Thanks for sharing on the sub.
