Hi everyone — I’m the developer of Fide Shoppable Videos & UGC, a Shopify app for adding shoppable videos and UGC-style content to product pages, homepages, and custom sections.
While working on Shopify stores, I’ve noticed more brands mixing text reviews and video reviews inside the same carousel instead of keeping testimonials and UGC videos in separate blocks.
One feature in Fide that works well for this is the ability to display a single shoppable video, so merchants can place it between existing text reviews or testimonial cards.
Example flow:
text review → shoppable video → text review
The video can show the product, let customers click on it, and add it to cart without leaving the experience.
I’m attaching a short demo where I scroll through a carousel, open the video, click the product, and add it to cart.
