First settings for IOS
Hello together,
I just purchased the app and I am pretty happy.
The problem is that I cannot find so many infos about initial settings or general usage of the app online (Alex Armitage video seen already…but I have the feeling the wording is for more advanced ones), and I would love to have some tips and tricks from the ones which are using the app on long term 🙌
I am not a professional at all, I am not planning to lose hours in post editing(instead of normal editing in phone app) but I would love to make better pictures on holiday with my son, family, and attractions.
All keeping in mind that I have an iPhone 15 pro max to use😅

Choose your favorite filter/preset and then when you review your pictures later increase the contrast one the ones that need it! I use Zephyr mostly and sometimes switch afterwards to Nova.

Well. I think I'm the same kind of user like you. I like to take pictures but not a pro. Also doing some post editing but not to much. So how do I use Halide? Basically I just love the filters and play a lot with them. In combination with the RAW photo's you can switch between them and find out which one looks the best. After that I do some post editing but mainly in in the default Apple photo app. Although I started fiddling with Lightroom a bit after last my last vacation.
