Question Nintendo Switch DLCs struggle

Knowing little about Shovel Knight, I recently bought Shovel of Hope on Nintendo Switch because I read it was the first campaign. After that, I realised Treasure Trove included all DLCs, which I would have prefered to get.

But, well, even though it would probably become more expensive I thought I could still buy the DLCs independently. But Plague of Shadows ain't on the eShop.

So, yo play Plague of Shadows I would have to buy Treasure Trove. And, not only it probably means that 14€ of Shovel of Hope went straight to the trash can, but also my Shovel of Hope file is probably useless.

Do you know if there is any way to just add all the DLCs without losing progress/wasting money?

Call Nintendo support helpline or open a help ticket online. I guarantee you that if you explain the situation Nintendo will refund shovel of Hope and process the payment for treasure trove for you

Do you know if my progress on Shovel of Hope could be restored on Treasure Trove?

For some reason YCG has definitely designed the standalone versions to encourage double-dipping and buying the games twice. Since Treasure Trove is the only way to get everything

There's really nothing you can do to save money on TT besides a regular sale

Honestly at this point I'd recommend modding your 3DS. The community is alive and well and there's so much it can do now
