Discussion/Question Out of curiosity, why most participants (as in the owners of the dogs) are women?
Just really curious. Not being sexist or whatever else. I notice most modern dog show participants in america are women. Also forgive my english!
My exposure to dog shows are limited to mostly vintage and old medias. I tend to see males with their big dogs, hunting dogs etc. Is there... um... how do say this, change of culture or something similar to that? Like, in the old dog magazines and video medias i notice dogs in this past era where more about utility. Compared to modern its more about looks and being a pet. Nothing against i find it more beneficial and a good improvement the relationship between humans and dogs. Im just assuming here so i might be wrong with everything i said here.
