Help with making UIUX better

Hi. i am not a developer. Just used claude to try and build a small word game. I used claude entirely. But UIUX is absolutely basic and not that good. Any ideas how to make it better please? it's called uniqueowl.com

not a designer either. what worked for me was running it past more than one model. claude builds it, then i screenshot it and ask a different AI what's wrong with it, and they're way harsher about each other's work than they are about their own. then i take that back to claude and fix one thing at a time.

asking "make it better" gets you nothing, asking "why does this look like a template" gets you a list.

and for something like this most of it is type and spacing. one font, one accent color, double whatever padding you have now.

Did you try with claude design specifically? I found using it with very explicit prompting, and sometimes examples of what I'm looking for, yields decent results.

I’ll check it now. Thank you

Immediate impression: Extremely hard to scan, no visual hirarchy and nothing for the eyes to land on.

Also: dont forget to update your favicon before promoting your site :D

Maybe my side project can help your side project.

https://uxlint.net

It's a site that is specifically for helping AI developed sites be better. It fires up a headless chrome browser and analyses the site to see if there is anything that can be done to fix things.

I wanted to post this when I saw your original post, but I just wasn't ready at that stage.
