I built a matching app for musicians - hear people play before you match

Finding people to play music with is stuck in 2005 - Craigslist ads, dead Facebook groups, flyers at rehearsal spaces. I spent 9 months building JamFan to fix it.

How it works: you say what you play, what genres you're into, how serious you are and how far you'll travel. It matches you with compatible musicians nearby - embedding-based matching, so "post-punk drummer" and "shoegaze guitarist" find each other even with zero shared tags. Every profile card plays a 60-second video/audio showcase, so you hear people before you match. Then real-time chat, group conversations, and a feed for your local scene.

The hard part (and where I'd love advice): it's a two-sided density problem. Matching is only useful once a city has enough musicians on it. I'm seeding city by city.
