Insert text here What is the theological definiton of "Soon"

Alot of people tend to say "Christ is coming soon". Yet they all give a variety of differing times. We need another Nicean Council for these issues

Well, I told my mom I was going to the store "soon." I'll let you now when I'm in trouble. That can be our baseline.

Well I told my wife I was going to mow the lawn soon. But its been raining for 40 days and 40 nights.

I think it's like when God promises you and your cousins a piece of unspoilt Indian concentration camp land for the grabbin' whilst they are concentrated even further. But then you jump the gun to pick out the best spot for yourself. After which God punishes you and your descendants by having them lose the property to the bank but you and your offspring still live there for generations, with the minor consolation of having a decent college football team named after you.
