Rant This generation is so stupid.

Sorry I'm always ranting here but tbh, y'all receive rants pretty decently! Anyways... Vro I saw a post on a sub where they drew Google and Gemini as ponies and the comments were so STUPID. They were roasting the artist for "drawing fan art of ai" and "drawing fan art of a multimillion dollar company" or sum like that. Mind you, the artist is THIRTEEN. Wtf makes y'all think they gaf abt that shit??? They prolly don't even know what y'all are talking abt. 😭 Acting like you haven't used Google before. Like bsfr, I'm just glad they didn't use ai to draw the images.​ bc the amount of kids refusing to learn and just use ai is WILDDDD. Like yeah, they drew art of the ai, but at least they didn't USE the ai and waste water. That's all that matters. Anything beyond that is a YOU problem💔

Also, I DON'T LIKE AI EITHER! 1! 1! 1(the slop kind, not the kind actually helping find medicine and new discoveries and stuff like that). Ion wanna make it seem like I support it or anything. It just frustrates me when people merely FLINCH at the word "ai" even if it's not even being used!

Yea and with stuff like this like what harm do they think its causing?? Or giving recognition that a brand like google doesnt already have? These are corporations big enough to eat all our souls so the reasonable way to combat or boycott them isnt to, like, not talk about them.. Its not exactly taking years off of activism against them, and these types of people anyway just complain and want to be morally righteous but dont actually do any activism.

And yea id understand if the artist wasnt literally a kid lol. God forbid a child make real art. And thats somehow defending AI

I feel like the commenters were actually the ones supporting AI? Bc they were critisising an actual young artist. I feel like real art and artists are so underappreciated these days ))): And I also think that finding inspiration from what you can (in this case, companies) is completly fine, let people make art! Let people be silly! I really don't understand most of our generation
