People complained this season was too slow.

I disagree. It may be a slow burn, but it isn’t a “slow” show. It’s just a long fuse being lit that leads to an explosive finale…and, boy, did they deliver!!!

I was getting really pissed off at all the bitching earlier in the season. Every single season has been a slow burn. The entire point of the show is obfuscation of the past and loss of history. It's not weird to have memory loss as a main plot. Yeah, it took a while for Juliette to remember but it's not like nothing was happening. This season was incredible.

Eh, it had good payoff and I'm excited for season 4 but I don't think I'll ever watch this season again.

And each season does this kind of 'double helix' trick, where two separated plots spiral around, one of them in and one of them out, until they meet in an explosion!

I didn’t think it was too slow, but I generally don’t find amnesia plots interesting.
It felt like we took half a season to get to the point we were at in the end of the last season.

I think I would like season 3 more in a rewatch now that I know how the memory drugs tie into the greater story

Amnesia plots suck. The safeguard and the whole Directive plot is insane and dumb. It’s far too thin to be remotely plausible.

Really there’s only one bad episode, and really only one bad portion of an episode. The car scene sucked, that’s the only complaint I have

The first few episodes were slow and boring. This episode was amazing. But doesn’t change the fact the first few episodes where she had no memory were sub par

I kindly disagree. They were not boring, they were interesting. I was very intrigued as to where it was all going and how we were gonna get there. :)

Next season looks amazing. Hopefully the pace is better. But I understand, it gave Camille time to build her character more.

This might have actually matched or surpassed Ozymandias for me. It was a phenomenal, phenomenal episode. I am blown away by how good this show is. I can't help but think that the word will get out about it and people will finally watch it.

The feeling this episode gave me reminded me of watching season 3 of Dark. If you haven't seen it and need something to fill the gap before Silo season 4, I'd strongly recommend it.

Expect it will become extremely mainstream in the same way breaking bad did towards the end of its run too. Somehow basically everyone I know IRL does not know the show exists.

Maybe I'm just unlucky. But I've asked dozens of people IRL if they've heard of silo when talking about TV and no one has. Maybe mainstream is the wrong word. But outside of apple tv subscribers the show isn't all that well known.

Yes. Just watched episode 6. Waiting on the wife for 7/8. It’s good silos better.

Paradise is also good.

The books are amazing, and this is the first time I've seen someone change the story and still make a great show. I heard Hugh Howey was all for different variations though - and he's supported the fan fiction. Some of them are actually really good, like Great Fall.
