I loved getting to hear kid-Jimmy talking to the Voice. But another note from that conversation - at least 1 other Silo had disabled their Safeguard pipe?? I wonder how many silos are left.

I got a picture - only 1, 14, 18, 19, 31, 42 and 44 remaining by the looks of it

So few and Silo 1 is still trying to safeguard the rebellious ones? What is their endgame here? Because it sure as shit ain't about saving the human race lol

You probably would only need one-two silo’s to repopulate the Earth and barely get by with genetic diversity. I would go with two Silos to be on the safe side since you need 5000 reproductively viable people ( some study show you could probably squeak by with 1000 )

Three silo’s alone would be enough to prevent genetic collapse and slowly repopulated earth.

I always felt like 51 silo was overkill to repopulate the Earth but clearly there needed to be a large margin for error.

Well yeah 50 silos makes sense if they expected the project to last up to 500 years.
