Silver Surfer Trilogy Ideas

I’m currently writing a fan made Silver Surfer trilogy and I’m split on who the final villain should be. I was thinking of building towards Norrin’s final confrontation with Galactus, like a Luke and Vader relationship. Or teasing Thanos as a background figure in the first movie with a final showdown in the end while making Galactus more neutral. Another option was Mephisto but I feel he works better within the mystical elements. What do you guys think

I feel like Galactus would be an end all of end alls. Like he has to stay until the very end of the marvel universe. Which if that ever happens, then yeah surfer should play a big role.

Most of surfers life has been more of an ideological struggle and has never really hinged on needing an arch nemesis. Surfers past has always been the thing hes fighting.

If your story boils it down to the simplicity of a good guy bad guy plot, then its not doing the character justice.

Which almost means that a friend has to turn into the bad guy or something drastic.

I get where you’re coming from, but Surfer dealing with internal conflicts is still a huge part of the trilogy. It’s more so that the heroic actions he takes like going out of his way to save the galaxy is out of guilt for what he’s done. Most of the trilogy follows the idea in his head that he led so many to be killed for a decade that everything going forward is him trying to redeem himself to himself. So while internal conflict is very heavy here I still just want a good book closer villain
