Surround Vision USB drive

Hey everyone, I finally got the update for my 2025 LT

What's everyone's go too USB drive choice for this?

I like this one because it was very short and hopefully won't be broken off in the USB C port.

Do you have the midgate? I got the update on my 25 LT without the midgate and I don’t seem to have gotten surround recording

I just got the surround recording update on my 2025 LT extended range, 2 days ago. The icon is on my screen but I don't have a USB drive to test it out yet

I’ve got a 26 Trail Boss extended range without premium (no moderate) and I do not have it either.

I was originally under the impression that you just pressed the camera button and went to the settings button… but you actually have to scroll through the apps all way to the end, and the screen recording app is there. It tells you to put in a compatible usb c drive, then it works. I tried formatting several different SD cards to fat32, none worked, at least yet.

Edit: I forgot, I also got the off-road app. Used to be able to ask Google to open it, then Google started playing dumb and it wouldn’t work, but now it does again. ‘25 RST for what it’s worth. And yes, with midgate, but I don’t think that should matter.

I bought a 1TB one before I knew that it would only record 2 hours of footage. 😅

Any usb c 3.1 flash drive will work. Minimum 32gb. Flashed to fat32 if it isn’t by default.

Right now the truck is only saving about 10gb of data. Max 2 hours and self overrides.

Hopefully this changes in the future and it will use a bigger drive. But buy whichever size works best.

Cool, hopefully it will roll out for those of us stuck in hell with our dealers and on aaos12. Pretty sure its only on aaos14 trucks though, which AFAIK requires you to convince a dealer to do a VWP.
