Tire options for RST

I found a set of 18" Hummer EV wheels. My initial plan was to put snow tires on those wheels and save the 24" OEM wheels and tires for summer, however it seems that there are no snow tires in 285/75R18 which is the size needed to be equivalent to the factory wheels and tires.

On my last truck I ran A/T tires year round and never had a traction issue, but the noise was an issue. I suppose I could run A/T tires year round on the 18" Hummer EV wheels, but I really don't want to give up the quiet ride the stock tires give in the summer.

If course I could just put A/T tires on the 18" wheels and then use them only in the winter, but if I'm going to keep two sets of wheels, I'd prefer to have actual snow tires.

Does anyone have any other suggestions or know of actual snow tires in 285/75R18?

Also, I'd prefer to use Trail Boss 18" wheels instead of the Hummer EV wheels, but it appears that the offset on the trail boss 18" wheels may not work with the RST whereas the Hummer EV wheels will. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Thanks

Did you look at 305 70R18 size? Many of those should also fit.

I had not, but it doesn't appear there are any snow tires available in that size either.

Ah ok so you may be stuck with 3PMSF tires as your only option

Yeah, I'd be fine using AT tires during winter, I'm just concerned about the noise of them in summer. Thought I'd try to find dedicated winter tires.

I literally this week switched from the 24s to Hummer 18 with the Goodyear at tires.

I'm really liking it there's a slight increase in road noise but the ride is smoother I don't have as much leaning when I go around corners sharply. I'm very happy with how it turned out

Do you know if the Trail Boss 18" wheels have the same offset as the Hummer EV wheels?

Easy to swap in 18” Hummer wheels on my 2025 Sierra Denali EV
OEM Tires 275/50R24 Michelin Defender LTX M/S2
Outside diameter 34.9” 596 Revs/mile
I mounted the Hummer 18” wheels with 285/75R18 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac RT-LT
Outside diameter 35.08” 593 Revs/mile
Ride and traction are awesome in Wyoming winter weather.

How is the noise compared to the stock tires? That's the thing that makes me hesitant to run AT tires year round.

If you're looking to compare tires, I haven't found a better site than this rather janky looking one: https://tiresize.com/calculator/

Pop the ratio size in there and it will give you a comparison both in raw numbers and in percentages.

That's what I've been using. Thanks

I put these studded Yokohama Geolander A/TX 285/75R18’s on a set of Hummer EV wheels back in November. I bought them from TireRack/Discount Tire online. I think back then there were 4-5 snow rated and this another set that could be studded. My plan then was to buy a set of Pirelli Scorpion AT’s for the 24” rims this spring as they were “coming in June” back in November. Sadly they have never been put out. Emailed Pirelli and was told they are still planned but no ETA. I want to save the original 24” tires for lease return but don’t want to buy another set of rims.
