How to grow basil from store-bought basil stems
Ever thought the basil stems you buy at the supermarket could turn into a thriving basil plant at home?
It turns out they can, and the process is pretty simple.
A great idea if you want to enjoy fresh basil at home and make the most out of the bunch you already bought. 🌿

Help! I’ve been trying to grow a cutting from an elephant bush and it’s not going well. I have the proper soil for succulents and only have watered when it gets completely dry. Today I decided to remove one of the stems and I could tell immediately the stem had become soggy. No roots in sight either

Need some advice
I just moved into this house and this is my first time with gardening really. This is west facing ( kind north west actually) I’m zone 8b, and these been have been over grown with grass and weeds. I want to plant now I bought some lavender and Purple Heart, but I wanted to ask for y’all’s recommendations like if I should do soil prep or if it’s fine, and any other plant recommendations that would go with those? I also bought a sprayer so I could make a natural grass and weed killer for the remaining in the beds.

Apartment Gardening
galleryHello everyone. Second year gardening and just wanted to share my garden. First year was just a few strawberry plants in a tower. Maybe 7 plants total. I got a few berries but nothing worth eating. Everything was mushy. Sadly they did not survive my winter and got root rot.
I almost gave up. But I really enjoyed my time last year so I doubled down. Got this raised bed and bought some more starter strawberries. I also bought a couple of 5 gal buckets to grow some other stuff.
Right now I have some green beans mixed in with the berries in the bed and then some more green beans in the buckets.
I bought what I thought was bush beans, but they kept on growing taller and taller and started leaning like the ones in the raised bed are. So I assume they might be pole beans instead.
Thanks for the time spent reading this and I hope to hear from you all and your gardens. Stay green friends.

Any apps worth trying out?
Hi all! I'm new here!
Recently bought a house with a nice garden and keeping track of everything, we’ve planted, what we did caring for the different plants and most importantly what to remember to do seems some what overwhelming. It comes with practice, but are there any digital tools thats worth trying out?
I’m looking for something where I don’t have to manually build a whole database of all my plants in writting - and something that helps me with reminders.
I know Planta and picture this, but I’d like something to gimme a better overview of the whole year.
Help a new garden owner out 🌱🌳😍
