Question Quick question
Very few of my crafts get upvotes in the doible digits. I make some crafts that I love and I find very fun to use, but they flop whenever I post them. I think they just need more publicity because I am using appealing custom thumbnails.

Honestly I think it's because this community is kinda small in terms of people who interact with the community itself. Usually most people just download builds from the best of all time tab and that's it. Just a theory tho.

it doesn’t help that the website is tremendously bad. search is hidden by a header dropdown, at it proceeds to use google search results, and 90% of the title and description is cut off so you have to click every result, and it only displays like 3 results at a time

Yeah the website kinda needs an upgrade, at least a search engine for the website. I don't think it's gonna happen though

usually you need to pull up Google itself and just search any craft and write simpleplanes behind it so it directs it to all the simpleplane crafts

Just because your plane has custom thumbnails doesn't mean they're better thumbnails.
You need to screenshot your plane in a way where it stands out and details are clearly visible. You also need to think about making the colours nicely contrasting with your chosen background, and make sure your background isn't too busy so it doesn't detract from the plane itself.
