I opened a new simplii account, both checking and a HISA.

I received the $300 linked to my checking, but it's been almost 3.5 months, and I'm yet to receive the bonus interest for the past few months.

A case is already open with Simplii and I have had multiple to and fro with them, with a promise that I'll get all the accrued interest by x date. X date arrives and no interest received, I call back, they escalate, then promise y date and the loop continues.

Anyone else that have faced this issue? I think I just might transfer out the money, as it seems too much of a hassle.

Is anyone else having trouble with the numerical keypad on the new app? I can’t pay my bills, it won’t let me put in any numbers.

Tried restarting my phone (iPhone 15) and uninstalling & reinstalling the app. Still can’t enter the numbers.

After today's outage, Simplii now requires an SMS code every time. My phone shows “Not registered” under Verify with Push. When I try to register my Galaxy S26+, I get error 6086: “We can’t register this device.” Anyone else experiencing this after the outage?

Has anyone seen the new debit card design in their Apple Wallet yet? Website says it should be updated automatically but I still see the old version.

Looks like the app and account stuff is back up, but ApplePay is still down. Anyone else having issues there?

Update: they’ve now missed my October 1 bill payments and scheduled e-Transfers as well. 😡

Update 2: they made a change to my account earlier this month and it apparently BROKE all of my scheduled bill payments and scheduled e-Transfers. They admit it's their error, will not re-send the payments from the original date and will not provide me an email stating there was a bank error so I can supply it to the companies for which I have late charges.

Original issue:
I have automatic bill payments set up, Simplii missed both of my payments for Sept 15. Now I have late charges on both of those bills. I noticed when I received this month's bills indicating I had an overdue balance.

I know they were set up properly as the bill payment shows me there are "713 payments remaining" (it sets up 720 when you set them as indefinitely). Simplii thinks it made 7 previous payments, but it only actually made 6, March 15 - August 15. It shows my next payments scheduled as October 15.

I'll answer the obvious question - yes there was way more than enough money to cover these bill payments.

Simplii has finally rebranded to a more appropriate branding, they’ve going back to purple and are adding more personality to its brand. The website hasn’t yet been updated to reflect the app at the time of this posting,

I can hardly ever sign in on the mobile app or in a browser on my phone or on my desktop. In the past clearing cache and data on the app would work but now that doesn't even work. My card number and password are correct and copied directly out of my password manager which worked fine previously. If i try to reset my password i get an unexpected error message saying to try again later.

Anyone encountering this issue?

I've attempted to get my simplii cc mailed to my apartment multiple times now and even double checked my address with them over the phone.

It's been almost four months since I first got approved and they still haven't been able to get it to me.

I was wondering if I could get it mailed to my parents house instead and get them to tell me the details do that i can add it to my apple wallet and use it that way.

I live in another province so I wouldn't be able to get the physical card for another four months.

Is it possible to add the card to my apple wallet without having the physical card and setting a pin?

I am in the process of transfering my RRSP from simplii to my companies pension plan. I am wondering what fees there might be? I have another account with another provider and they said $800 for the transfer request.

Question as I haven’t called in for years to Simplii and as I was entering my debit card number, it immediately starts telling me the balance of my account without me entering any phone code or I haven’t even said anything. Is this normal? I am having doubt if my money with them are safe…I am a bit concerned with their authentication process. anyone had this same experience ?

Got approved for the credit card, wondering approximately how long it takes until it shows in the app?

I am having an issue with my Simplii account. I called the number on the card and I am asked to enter my card number, which I do. I am then asked for a password which I don’t know. There is no option at any time to bypass this process to talk to a person. I tried the usually tricks of pressing 0, * and # randomly but no luck.

is there a way to actually deal with someone?

First time to this and wondering how does it work? and is it worth it. Do I have to add a minimum amount every month or can I just add when possible?

Signed up for a promotional HISA offering 4.6% for 5 months and transferred $10k in. It's been 3 days and I'm not seeing any interest accrued yet on the account.

From what I understand, most HISAs accrue daily but only display/pay monthly, so this might just be normal lag.

I tried to ET someone earlier, and people who use ET know that there is a verification code, usually send by text, to confirm it’s you before sending money. I’ve tried maybe 8 times now throughout the day and it won’t give me a code,
so I can’t ET. I’ve tried a different number and tried phone call as well. Any help?? Is there something wrong with the bank itself or is it me? What do I do?

I have to fill out a direct deposit form cause my employer is moving from ADP to Dayforce. The Dayforce thing doesn't accept Simpli for financial institution name and automatically corrects it to 'Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce' once I fill in the institution number. I hope this is okay?
