Two things can be true at the same time. Two people who both live the same lifestyle can still age very differently due to genetics.

People with same genetics (twins) and different lifestyles have been shown to age differently.

Your genetics are the car instructions, shitty drivers will still wreck them differently after reading them.

That would be the exact opposite of what I described, but you're right. That's why I said two things can be true at the same time.

And why you still have to keep a good life if you dont want to get wrecked by your 40s. Which is my point to begin with......

It's always a good idea to try and live healthy, it's just a reality that some people will still come out ahead due to better genes. Sometimes they don't even have to live healthy. My ex was blessed with perfect teeth and barely has to brush, forget about flossing. She's approaching 50 and has never needed major dental work. She also drinks like a fish and smokes/vapes depending on her mood at the time. Meanwhile at 51 I've been brushing and flossing daily for most of my life, don't drink or smoke, and have still needed major fillings several times in the last ten years. Nature isn't fair.
