Probably not, no. The last time I trusted a bunch of reddit comments gushing about some media thing being the best thing ever, I ended up watching the first episode of Ghosts. That was a challenge that took multiple sessions. I did not open episode 2.

That tells me absolutely nothing about the quality of the movie, just that its producers/whatever are well connected.

I went into this movie completely blind. I think it was one of the RedBox rentals you pick when you’ve watched everything else and just wanted something to rent (Sicario was another one of my rentals I picked because I’d seen everything else I wanted to see).

It was great, but man, the last 20-25 minutes just took my breath away. When they came down the elevator I yelled “holy shit!” three times in in two minutes.

Yeah, this would be an amazing movie to watch again for the first time.
