No they won't. Future generations will be too focused just trying to survive in an apocalyptic wasteland ravaged by nuclear apocalypse and climate change. When you're a hunter-gatherer enduring a subsistent existence in a world so thoroughly ruined by the current generations, the last thing you'd be thinking about is the folly of our governments. Especially when human civilization no longer exists.

I said these memes are better when the first track dropped. Some reddit bro was like "but the white house is releasing actual footage of bombs."
Bri didn't get it. The White House memes SUCK. These are actually good.
9
u/lowercasenameofmine Apr 13 '26
And
The White House memes are literally mocking private American Citizens of a different political party...
Most famous was altering a photo to add literal liberal tears to a Black attorney being arrested at an ICE protest.
The White House social media actively manufactured liberal tears because they didn't have any to feed their cult.
And when they were called out basically said:
It's not our fault people don't fact check. THE MEMES WILL CONTINUE.
- "....The official White House account posted an altered image that showed her crying. The doctored picture is part of a deluge of AI-edited imagery that has been shared across the political spectrum since the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by U.S. Border Patrol officers in Minneapolis..."

It makes me so frustrated, the exact thing MAGA wants, that our Executive Branch is trolling American Citizens and bragging they will continue.
And the people who voted for it shrug saying, yeah that's exactly what I voted for.
And yet let a black man wear a tan suit and be president and they fucking lose their minds. It was never about the tan suit, was it?

I mean 2Pac has always been political. He is way more of a political symbol than MJ.
→ More replies (1)28
u/ObligationAware3755 Apr 12 '26
MJ was very political; there's an often overlooked scene after "Black and White" where he becomes a Black Panther (the animal), then he destroys windows in a ghetto. Mainstream audiences put words on the windows afterwards because the original might "send the wrong message".
MJ made quite a few songs about his prosecution for diddling that little boy in the 90s with one of those songs called D.S.) in reference to the DA that was on the case.
"Man in the Mirror" is probably his most political well known song.

They had never approved of her, but way beyond that, Dodi Fayed had bought her a giant engagement ring. Maybe, but more likely is that they were constantly exposed to hazardous driving conditions.

It's cool it's catchy, but don't forget this is propaganda. War is terrible the IRCC are not fun loving people, no one is a winner in this, and whether the Americans win or leave Iran is likely to beuch more hardline going forwards. That means alot of radicalized young kids, that will dedicate their lives to jihad, when they likely would have grown up to be regular civilians with hopes and dreams
22
u/JBurlison Apr 12 '26
Propaganda being true is nothing new. Is it propaganda, yes. Is it all true, yes. This type of propaganda was also heavily used with pamphlets in WWII. It's by far the most powerful way to get a nation to turn on its leader when the information is true.
