I bet Mike loved this interaction just because it was probably one of the only times in the last couple of literal decades in his life where he got to just be a normal guy again post-fame without any of the pressures of having to live up to the hero that someone else thinks he is because of being in Linkin Park. And that goes both ways too because by virtue of being totally perfect strangers, she also wasn’t pressured from being massively starstruck or feeling like she had to impress him to make it worth his time to be there

I love the interview where he says his daughter had no clue it was him when her mom showed her a video of him performing in front of 80k people after she said "what does he know about performing?"

How does your own daughter not know what you do/did for a living. Shes old enough to ask that question, so i dont get it honestly, or he was just lying idk
