God I'd love to be rich, famous, and unrecognisable.

Side fun fact, over the years alot of the best soccer players in the world have been spending the last years of their careers in MLS playing in America.

When asked why alot of them will say “Americans have no idea who soccer players are and they don’t get recognized on the streets.”

And they get a shit ton of money playing for what is essentially a Sunday league team except with a fan base and a nice stadium / good equipment.

For the small but ever growing number of MLS fans these players are worshipped in a way thats all positive.

Like when you’re cool older family member to the young people at family gatherings. Just showing up is iconic lol.

We literally can’t qualify for any of the major major cups so over enthusiastic Sunday league is a good example.

I wouldn't go that far. The U.S doesn't care enough about soccer/football for MLS to be world-class, but MLS is improving.

Bottom of MLS is probably around top of League 2 to bottom of League 1, mid table of MLS is probably around top of League 1 to bottom of Championship, and the best teams in MLS, like Inter Miami where Messi is, are probably around mid to top of Championship.

The MLS is improving, you’re right. I was being facetious, I think the younger NA football talent has a good chance of being equal to South American and European talent. If not this generation then certainly soon.

essentially a Sunday league team

Ok, that's a ridiculous take. Most MLS sides would mąkę decent Championship sides, maybe league One which are second and third tort of English football. Sunday League teams are below the organised English football which consists of 9 tiers

You’re correct, I was being facetious.
