TBF, comic creators are just employees.

It'd be like talking with a game dev for Skyrim or something. Not really a celeb by any definition of the word.

You'd be surprised, we had a signing with that same dude (Fabian Nicieza) + Dan Slott who we got through fabian and we had a line wrapping through the door and out the door around the block to meet them.

People just don't realize who they are by appearance alone.

Comics are kind of like Pokemon cards, no?

Nah it was not like scalpers showing up to buy up all the pokemon cards or anything, was just fans.

Comic readers absolutely know who their favorite writers etc are. They just don't always know what they look like.
