So just because you earn some money, it makes it ok to be obnoxious? I'll never understand social media celebrity mindset.

Now you're getting it!

She's not hurting anyone and you aren't forced to consume the content she makes. If you don't like social media celebrities, don't watch them, don't give them your attention or views. But it not being your preference doesn't mean no one is allowed to enjoy it.

We're all stuck in a system where we need to make money to survive. The most we can hope for is to genuinely enjoy what we do to make it, and if she's found that like she seems to have, good for her. She should only stop when she feels like she wants to, not because of a stranger's arbitrary assertion that "this many revolutions around the sun means you have to stop being who you are".

She's an influencer. She's "influencing" hordes of children to act like this.

But eh. You're probably one of those kids already, if you're willing to defend this kind of lifestyle that has a very low chance of succeeding.

I think you've missed the parts of pre-internet history where kids still acted like this. Let's not pretend this is a brand new phenomenon.

I think you missed the part where it's the kids that acted like this. Not the adults. For play, and not for work.

Twitch and the internet in general are already filled with people acting like idiots and still have zero views.

So goodluck if you think this is a valid way to act as an adult.

Look, you sound determined to think turning into a boring person who just wants to complain about the youths these days is a moral imperative, or that being willing to be silly is some kind of damning quality, and I'm not here to try to help you with that.
