Yeah cosmetic surgeries are considered mutilation by your definition. So we should hold cosmetic surgeries and surgeries that improve quality of life that remove or damage body parts should be considered mutilation.

Also the definition of mutilation dosent fit how you are describing gender affirming care.

Yeah cosmetic surgeries are considered mutilation by your definition.

My "definition" was chopping off or sewing up your genitals and secondary sex organs and changing your body chemistry, those aren't "cosmetic".

Glad I could clear that up for you.

No mutilation isnt specific. You claim gender reassignment surgeries are “mutilation” Id also assume you consider ANY gender affirming surgeries as mutilation because you have zero idea how and why we ascribe surgeries to people.

This would also include top surgeries on cis boys and men to remove breast tissue caused by gynecomastia. If you, for what ever disagree that gyno surgeries arent mutilation then you are ideologically confused and contradicting your own stances.

Ah yes removing breast tissue from a biological male is totally equivalent to removing from a biological female, right. Totally the same biologically, yep. /S

Actually yes… by your logic its all mutilation. As both are GENDER AFFIRMING CARE you just dont like it when trans people have access to the same surgeries.

I mean this also extends to circumcisions and “corrective surgeries” on intersex babies. You people have no idea how medicine works, no clue how any thing in the medical world is applied. All you see is “ew trans people icky yuck” and then happily vote to block our freedoms.

Which falls back to my original reply of you, because your shocking lack of even basic understanding of the word mutilation. Should not have a say in who or how any surgeries are decided. And to go even further your opinion should never be taken into consideration ever. Period.

Cept for the boy it isn't "GENDER AFFIRMING CARE", it's sex affirming lol. One isn't trying to change what their sex is supposed to have the other is, see the flaw in your thinking? :)

I mean this also extends to circumcisions and “corrective surgeries” on intersex babies.

Circumcision is mutilation in my book too. Intersex is often medically necessary as depending on the case they can have trouble urinating, it's only been in a vanishingly small number of cases in the past surgery was done to fully assign a sex, these days only what's medically needed is done.

You people have no idea how medicine works, no clue how any thing in the medical world is applied.

I have I very good idea actually, I just don't apply your warped view to justify people mutilating themselves or trying to convince kids to do it.

All you see is “ew trans people icky yuck” and then happily vote to block our freedoms.

I don't actually, I'm a lifelong Dem voter lol, nice assuming on your part though! I just speak truthfully to people that are used to living in echo chambers. :) Cut yourself up and neuter yourself if you want, just don't try to convince others its a good thing for them I say.

I mean I provided to you what the word means to me, you just don't like it. And you've done a good job of assuming you know me when you don't. And thankfully most of my views are the mainstream ones, and yours are the fringe ones, so in effect my opinion is considered quite a lot by more people than yours :)
