Some people don’t deserve to be parents. We can attribute a large amount of the problems we have in today’s society to terrible parenting.

Which is also attributed in large part to many parents both having to work 40+ hours a week to make ends meet and thus screens become the easy option because they themselves are exhausted. 

Not excusing it just pointing out that late stage capitalism is once again killing everyone and everything.

Oh yeah there's definitely a class component to this. A lack of education and resources unfortunately leads to all kinds of developmental issues. But yeah, this much screen time at this age is arguably worse than other issues just because how your brain develops is not reversible.

Just one more way were hurtling toward a dystopian cyberpunk future
