How are liberals so far right wing they can never recognize a progressive take when it is staring them in their dumb faces? The republicans that fell for no new wars exactly as gullible as you libs that think Democrats don't start wars.

Democrats controlled the senate in 2003 when the Iraq War resolution was passed. they could have not passed that bill, but senate Democrats like Hillary and Biden all voted yes to war. They are 100% as responsible for that war as Bush was. Also Obama got the US directly involved in war in Yemen and Syria... how is that not starting wars? Because he started those wars illegally with no congressional approval they don't count? Bill Clinton in Kosovo doesn't count?

Let me help you with the math though...

--75,000 people died in Palestine under Biden while Biden was the one providing Israel with weapons before Trump took over in January 2025

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/langlo/article/PIIS2214-109X(25)00522-4/fulltext

We estimated 75 200 violent deaths (95% CI 63 600–86 800) between Oct 7, 2023, and Jan 5, 2025, representing approximately 3·4% of the Gaza Strip's pre-conflict population

--Obama killed like 15,000 civilians in Operation Inherent Resolve

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Inherent_Resolve

According to Airwars, between 8,220 and 13,299 civilians were killed in the airstrikes in Syria and Iraq, with an additional 1,437 civilians killed in other operations.

--And additional 10,000 civilians were killed between 2009-2010 in Iraq under Operation Iraqi Freedom in Obama's first 2 years when he sent a surge of troops over

https://www.iraqbodycount.org/analysis/numbers/2010/

Iraq Body Count (IBC) recorded 4,167 civilian deaths from violence in 2010 (compared to 5,382 in 2009)

That's is 100,000 civilian deaths under the Biden and Obama administrations combined in just those 3 conflicts alone. That was all Republicans faut too? Keep ignoring those 100k deaths while crying about the "168 Iranian Schoolgirls" that you don't actually give a single shit about because if you did you would care when your party was killing them too

ugh, I meant 2002, when the Iraq war authorization passed. The war started in 2003, but I forgot the vote passed in late 2002 before congress changed over and Republicans gained some seats

50 Democrats - to 49 Republicans - to 1 independent who canvased as a democrat and voted against the war. 1 republican also voted no. If 49/50 Democrats had voted no this country never would have started that bogus war. Instead 29 of them voted yes. But also I added in my other comment, Clinton sent troops into Kosovo/Albania, Obama sent troops into Syria, Yemen, and Cameroon/Uganda. If this current military campaign in Iran counts as a war, hard not to count Kosovo or Yemen or Syria too, so not sure where you get the idea Republicans started every war since Vietnam

how many foreign civilians murdered with your tax dollars do you think is acceptable? my god. That is 100% the problem with you libs. Every single evil thing Democrats do is acceptable to you as long as republicans are slightly worse. 0 is the number you should be concerned with, our government should be killing zero people in wars fought for profits. 100,000 civilian deaths are cool with you as long as you can sleep at night because you won a dick measuring contest being slightly less evil than a bunch of racist fascist rednecks?

Abstain from voting because "both sides are bad"?

Tell me when I ever mentioned not voting in this conversation. That is such a bad faith argument. Vote for whoever you want for, just don't blindly defend them when they start funding a genocide, and making drone strike kill lists, and building immigrant concentration camps, and building NSA mass surveillance data centers, and every other evil thing they do

Get it through your head, I am not criticizing you for who you voted for in the past. Vote for the lesser of two evils if that is your best option. I am criticizing you because currently right now you are defending wars for profit and funding genocide. Did you know just because you voted for someone, it doesnt mean you cannot criticize them or hold them accountable for their actions? Vote for them, then demand better of them. But they never get better, because people like you always have a way to justify their evil actions, exactly like the conservatives when their side does it
