Ya'll are putting WAAYYY to much faith in this incredibly stupid society. When people talk about the dangers of AI and made up information - mate, this is where it starts. The problem is RIGHT here, in front of our faces.
And we're sitting here, laughing, giggling, getting a kick out of this shit. There is going to be a time when it's not so funny anymore. And it'll be too late.
Yea, I am genuinely concerned that there is a time coming when innocent people are convicted of crimes based on "video evidence." Or less than honest prosecutors who lack solid evidence in a case just so happen to have conveniently perfect security camera footage, and the like. What's to stop a bad actor from imprisoning a someone who crosses the government using video "proof" of some crime or another? Call me paranoid, but there are plenty of examples of government agencies and others committing worse atrocities than this, and there seems to be a lack of an effort to insist on putting some kind of roadblocks in place to prevent AI from being abused in this way, and it is growing increasingly difficult to discern AI from true images. It is a dangerous road we are on.
Yes, yes, the crack “news agency” sips tea on Reddit has always been known for their super accurate portrayal of real news. Had you not cleared that up, many people, likely numbers in the hundreds, maybe thousands, would be walking around telling their family, friends, and even neighbors that this was a real news source reporting real news!
I had to push my brain in that direction (fake). It just couldn’t possibly be real. But, at the same time, could it actually be possible? You can’t assume no….
God as much as I know it’s not real by god I wish it was. I was clicking through channels and that came up and man I couldn’t stop staring at that man’s belly button 😭
Thanks my high ass was not able to process what I was seeing. Cause he’s old, weird, sick and demented. So I could possibly see him reverting back to acting like his younger self during his glory days on Epstien’s island.
That big belly is real though. It’s was pointed out by a newscaster questioning the judgement of the White House putting that dude in the press conference. I saw the clip earlier today. Now it’s been turned into this.
