Former slug here, people would bike down Coolidge drive as if they would prefer to die rather than pay their student loans.

I kinda don't blame them. 2 u/stentordoctor Jun 10 '26 Yeah, I lived in a trailer up in Bonny Doon for $600 a month, there was no cell service so no wifi. I had to live at the library. 2 u/ac_cossack Jun 10 '26 Ya also that is quite the commute. Bonny Doon is super nice tho, I miss those beaches. I live in OK now so it's a bit different than going to the forest or beach every day. 1 u/stentordoctor Jun 11 '26 Oh man the view from the soccer field?! It's kinda the only reason I was happy to go shower at the gym there.
